Dining Alfresco

Next House Project: Outdoor Table
We're thinking long farmhouse style and reusing our black wicker chairs. I'm thinking chandelier, candleabras, linen tablecloths, flowers from our garden, vintage china...

(Look at those cute stacks of pancakes! )

Jockey Curtis

I think he overheard us talking about the Kentucky Derby. Excuse me Curtis, but that is our couch, not a race horse.

new lens & typical week night!

Barberito's for dinner and some shots on the couch...
take the party outside... Call up our neighbors and see what's going on...

Walk to the rooftop where we have a typical discussion with Katie and Scott about how to run our business, how other people should run their business (because we're all up in their business), what Thomasville could be...
and how it is about time this town gets a bar!

Then we mosey over to the Cobb's to check up on Miss Caroline and learn all of the basics on breastfeeding... hang in there Dort!

Typical evening! And Thomasville, as much as we make fun of you, we sure do love you and your people.

Listening To

Jay-Z's new song, Young Forever.

Getting old is a scary thing. The days are flying by, and it seems like the more fun you have, the faster they go. I remember when clocking in hours was on the trampoline and all I worried about was... absolutely nothing. And how was it even possible to have so much fun playing kick-the -can with all of my friends? When you grow-up, you don't even "play" anymore. Just are reminder that time is wealth and to "Live the Life You Love"!*Note, I have a feeling Jay-Z's memories of childhood are a little different than mine!

No Milk, Old Cream, No Problem!

We'll just head downtown to Grassroots coffee shop. It is always a treat to go somewhere for breakfast before work. For a second I thought it was Saturday and I had the day off!

"I will conquer you!" is what he told it...

and waited...

Chi Running

In an effort to stay injury-free, Brent and I are learning Chi Running.
Here are 5 Elements of Chi Running:
Run Tall
Lean forward
Land on mid-foot
Run from your core
Relax, relax, realx
Example #1: Chi Running
Example #2: Not-So-Chi Running
What in the world is this (besides just plain ugly!)? Is this what all of Thomasville sees every morning?! I look like I've stopped to do a little tap dance. I think (I hope) I was going straight uphill, you just can't tell in the picture. Guess it is safe to say there is a little room for improvement!

Mr. Thomasville

{ A little Southern Proper, or something similar }
{ Must sport the Barbour }
{ and the Russell's }
{ the man's best friend }
{ of course he drives one of these }
{ and you know there are some bumper stickers on the back window }
Just some observations from a new-comer.

back-up...

...To summer FOUR years ago. Our first summer dating!

By the way...
TIME FLIES.

Easter tradition

Brent and I LOVE family traditions.
One of the those being the Schulz family Easter Camp-out.

I am pretty sure that this was Brent's 5th Easter campout. Can hardly believe that it has been four years since he went crazy on the pressed coffee and started making waterfalls in the creek...

It was somebody's first Easter...

Daddy's paella, camping on the porch next to the waterfall, making our high proteing breakfast sandwiches, easter egg hunt, swimming in the lake...love my family and our Easter tradition!
